About the Animal Emergency Room

Animal Emergency Room was established in 2000 by Dr. Danette Schweers. Since, the hospital has been working with the San Antonio and surrounding Veterinarians to provide superior emergency care. In addition to Dr. Schweers, we are proud to have Dr. Alicia Gonzalez, Dr. David McGookey, Dr. April Campbell, and Dr. John Manning on staff.
